Server directory structure and server tools

This section addresses the ppm<ppm_version> and <PPM_Home> directories and the scripts and tools they contain.

The ppm<ppm_version> directory (the installation directory) contains two subdirectories that relate to the Oracle database schemas: ppm<ppm_version>/sys and ppm<ppm_version>/system.

The <PPM_Home> directory (the install directory for PPM) holds these subdirectories: bin,docs,logs,reports. These subdirectories contain server and system information, and administrative tools used to perform tasks such as starting, stopping, and reporting on the PPM Server or system.
